Update: To forestall accusations that I support election chicanery by the Republicans, let me just deliver the following quote attributed to Napoleon Bonaparte:

"Never ascribe to malice that which is adequately explained by incompetence."

It's entirely possible the GOP engineered the Ohio election to deliver a win for GWB. However, it's even more likely that the entire shambles can be the result of rampant non-partisan idiocy. Let's follow Occam's Razor here, and go with the the simplest solution.

Look, I work in the government. This place is NOT populated with the sharpest knives in the drawer. Most of the accusations Andy raises look damning from the Democratic perspective, are minor quibbles from a GOP perspective, but just look like typical governmental clock-punching behavior from those of us on the sidelines.
