Take Two - Prelude
At Last!
I've been waiting a while to take part in Christina's (of the Feisty Repartee blog!) Take Two project. For those unfamiliar with the Take Two scheme, she puts out a scenario, then turns a handful of bloggers loose on it to flesh it out. You get 1000 words, and all the creativity you can muster up.
I had mine written the day after she posted the scenario, but I must confess to pulling it out every so often and doing the odd bit of polishing and tweaking to get it just right. It could benefit from another 500 words, but you gotta go with what you've got.
Anyway, it'll be posted tonight, and you can see the entire lineup's efforts tomorrow morning on Christina's blog.
